Famed Group101LA Alumnus, Syed Ali Nasir has just launched a new Distant Chapter in Karachi, Pakistan.

Eight bold and visionary filmmakers have joined Syed and committed to making one short film per person per month for six months, with their first assigned theme of DISTANCE. We were hoping their first theme would be WATER, but that's just because we're frustrated travelers and wanted to see lots of cool movies shot on the Arabian Sea.
