In the late 1980's Group101 sent a colonization party over to Denmark to assimilate foreign filmmakers. The party was never heard from again, save for a few rumors in the mid 90's trickling in about one-way train tickets to Amsterdam.

Nonetheless it was a job well done, as a dozen or so years later Group101-Copenhagen was born. We never miss a trick.

No, no, no. We're totally kidding about Amsterdam.

Our friends Jesper and Lykke gave birth to 101-Copenhagen in the Fall of 2001 and are now into their third wave of production. We have all kinds of stories to tell you about them, but they've just put up their own website so go see for yourself what they've been up to.
